PROJECT: Design a digital magazine for OR Magazines 13th Edition
OBJECTIVE: To create a visually immersive digital magazine experience for "Off The Beaten Path" that engages readers with a unique, interactive road trip through Oregon.
TOOLS: Readymag and illustrations using Procreate.
OR Magazine is a digital student-run publication through the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism & Communication. Beginning in 2011, it was one of the first tablet-based student publications in the country. As the lead designer for OR Magazine's 13th Edition, I was tasked with crafting a digital magazine that would take readers on a virtual road trip across Oregon. The magazine's theme, "Off The Beaten Path," aimed to showcase lesser-known destinations and experiences within the state.
